It has been almost 2 years, fall of 2019, since we have been able to exhibit at a trade show. We really have missed the opportunity to get out and see our customers and meet new potential clients. That said, we are extremely excited to announce that we will be exhibiting at 3 different trade shows during the summer/fall of 2021. We would like to invite everyone to attend the live demonstrations with one on one technical support!

This has been a challenging year for all of us. Our new normal has forced change and uncertainty into all aspects of our lives. Dixie has been through many challenging periods over the last 126 years, but none as challenging as the last year has been. Staying positive, I realize that trying times force innovation’ which is crucial to our success. We have a global market that spans several vertical markets. One thing all of these customers have in common is a need for fast and reliable customer service and support.

Throughout our history, Dixie Canner has proudly served the needs of companies with smaller production volumes, focusing on quality products and unmatched customer service. 

Just off I-80 in Bloomsburg, PA, you'll find a local treasure. Housed in a 19th century farmhouse, the Inn at Turkey Hill is a traditional bed and breakfast run by the same family for 75 years and is well known for hospitality, fine dining, and most recently, beer.

When current owner Andrew Pruden's grandfather bought the old farm in the early 1900's, he dreamed of owning an Inn complete with an on-site brewery. He passed on before either was realized, but his family honored his dream by opening first the Inn and Farmhouse Restaurant, and later the Turkey Hill Brewing Company.

A few years ago, three friends outside of Chicago decided to take their love of beer and a strong friendship to the next level, and  Kinslahger Brewing Company was born. At first glance you may think the name Kinslahger is a typo. In reality, it's actually a mash up of two words central to the brewery's story - kinship, the connection with others, and lager, their specialty. This emphasis on a connection to others, along with pride in their Chicago roots, makes Kinslahger Brewing Company who they are. It's also what led them to Dixie Canner.

Craft breweries are more than just production facilities; today's craft brewers embrace a lifestyle that encompasses a sense of community built around the common appreciation and enjoyment of distinctly handcrafted brews. The Southern Brewing Company in Athens, GA, is proud to be part of this community.

Can packaging may have been around for a long time, but for some packaging companies, cans are a novel concept. That's the case with a Midwest co-packer of powdered mixes. From its beginning, the company focused operations on pouch and bag packing, a widely varied segment in the packaging world. But when a potential customer asks if you'd be willing to venture into another industry segment - cans - you branch out.

It may sound strange, but soon you might be ringing in the New Year with a toast - from wine in a can. Don't scoff just yet. Australia's been canning wine since 1996, and Ball Packaging Europe offers a specialty single-serve Wine Can. What's more, the idea has caught on with major winemakers, like Paul Hobbs.

When a full-scale production retort system is too much, Dixie Canner's Package 5 is the answer. Info about our motors: .75( 3/4) HP AC Gearmotor, 110/115V, 60/50Hz, 10A, 1PH – Manufactured by BisonGear & Engineering Corp. and Made in the USA. We have two versions of motor with same specs above but with different gear ratios. Our typical use motor has a 5:1 ratio and produces 122 lbs Torque. Our Heavy Duty use motor has a 7.5:1 and produces 184 lbs Torque.
